Acta Biochimica Polonica is an open access quarterly and publishes four issues a year.Acta Biochimica Polonica is a journal covering enzymology and metabolism, membranes and bioenergetics, gene structure and expression, protein, nucleic acid and carbohydrate structure and metabolism.Acta Biochimica Polonica publishes research articles, short communications, review articles and book reviews.Acta Biochimica Polonica will no longer publish articles presenting results obtained solely with the use of plant extracts, without determination of active compound(s).
