英文期刊外审1个月没消息能催稿吗

　　作者向英文期刊投稿，往往都迫切的想要收到审稿结果，有作者咨询：投稿了英文期刊，外审1个月还没消息，这时能催稿吗?外审专家往往很忙，审稿时间大概是1-2个月，建议过了2个月，没有状态变化，着急可以催稿，1个月可以再等等。

　　外文期刊如果是sci期刊，初审和外审时间都不一样，快的可能十几天就有回复，慢的可能1个多月。sci外审的时间相对较长，一是外审专家是兼职，可能没有足够的时间，全部花在审稿上;二是外审专家论证实验设计、内容或结论是需要足够时间，才能得出结果的;三是至少两位外审专家评审，需要都反馈评审意见后，才会有进一步的回复。你还可以阅读文章：sci二审可以发催稿邮件吗

　　作者论文外审1个月想要催稿的话，一定要慎重，注意自己的态度，以免起到相反的作用，不要没等多长时间就去催，这样可能留下不好的印象，作者催稿投稿都是要慎重，还可以询问专业人员的意见。
