SLEEP

The Journal SLEEP is the official publication of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies, LLC (APSS) a joint venture of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Sleep Research Society. Primary readers are scientists engaged in the study of sleep and its disorders, and clinicians practicing sleep disorders medicine. The spectrum of sleep disorders is very broad, encompassing primary dysfunction of neural mechanisms of sleep and arousal, pathologies uniquely related to sleep, and disturbances of sleep associated with behavioral or psychiatric syndromes. Sleep specialists come to the field of sleep from a variety of primary disciplines, including pulmonology, neurology, psychiatry, psychology, otolaryngology, and dentistry. SLEEP, a peer-reviewed scientific and medical journal, publishes 12 regular issues and 1 issue comprised of the abstracts presented at the APSS Annual Scientific Meeting.
