Brazilian Archives of Biology and Technology - BABT is an international journal that publishes original articles of research, short notes and review articles in the following areas: Agriculture, Agribusiness and Biotechnology; Human and Animal Health; Biological and Applied Sciences; Food/Feed Science and Technology; Environmental Sciences; Engineering, Technology and Techniques.In 1946, DSc. Marcos Augusto Enrietti devised the creation of a journal with the finality of publishing results of scientific and technological advancements made by the group of researchers of the Technological Researches and Biology Institute, current TECPAR, initiating the publication of the journal Archives of Biology and Technology.From 1999 on, being named Brazilian Archives of Biology and Technology, it starts publishing works only in English language, contributing more effectively to increase and dissemination of knowledge among national and international scientific community.The Brazilian Archives of Biology and Technology is a publication of the Technology Institute of Paraná - TECPAR.Its title abbreviation is Braz Arch Biol Technol which must be used in bibliographies, footnotes and in references and bibliographic subtitles.
