Published Quarterly, Ultrasonic Imaging provides rapid publication for original and exceptional papers concerned with the development and application of ultrasonic techniques, with emphasis on medical diagnosis. Ultrasonic Imaging publishes articles in the following areas: theoretical and experimental aspects of advanced methods and instrumentation for imaging Doppler measurements signal processing pattern recognition clinical evaluation of new techniques tissue-parameter measurements mechanisms of ultrasound-tissue interactions transducer technology calibration and standards tissue-mimicking phantoms elasticity measurements photoacoustic and acousto-optic technologiesIn addition to full-length papers, the journal publishes research notes, comments on papers appearing in the journal, book reviews, and occasional review articles. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
