REMOTE SENSING OF ENVIRONMENT

Remote Sensing of Environment serves the Earth observation community with the publication of results on the theory, science, applications, and technology of remote sensing studies. Thoroughly interdisciplinary, RSE publishes on terrestrial, oceanic and atmospheric sensing. The emphasis of the journal is on biophysical and quantitative approaches to remote sensing at local to global scales.Areas of interest include, but are not necessarily restricted to:Agriculture, forestry and rangeBiophysical-spectral modelsEcologyGeography and land informationGeology and geoscienceHydrology and water resourcesAtmospheric science and meteorologyOceanographyNatural hazardsImage processing and analysisRensor systems and spectral-radiometric measurements.Types of Articles Original Research Articles: Describe important significant new results or methods that will advance the science or application of remote sensing.Review Articles: Provide a thorough review of the current state-of-the-art of an important subject, with a synthesis of previous work beyond literature compilation.Short Communications: Brief papers containing significant new data or techniques may be published as Short Communications.
