ANNALS OF THE INSTITUTE OF STATISTICAL MATHEMATICS

Annals of the Institute of Statistical Mathematics (AISM) aims to provide a forum for open communication among statisticians, and to contribute to the advancement of statistics as a science to enable humans to handle information in order to cope with uncertainties. It publishes high-quality papers that shed new light on the theoretical, computational and/or methodological aspects of statistical science. Emphasis is placed on (a) development of new methodologies motivated by real data, (b) development of unifying theories, and (c) analysis and improvement of existing methodologies and theories.

统计数学研究所年报旨在为统计学家之间的公开交流提供一个论坛，并为推动统计学作为一门科学的发展作出贡献，使人类能够处理信息，以应对不确定性。它发表高质量的论文，为统计科学的理论、计算和/或方法方面带来新的启发。重点放在(a)发展以实际数据为动力的新方法，(b)发展统一的理论，和(c)分析和改进现有的方法和理论。
