OCEAN MODELLING

The main objective of Ocean Modelling is to provide rapid communication between those interested in ocean modelling, whether through direct observation, or through analytical, numerical or laboratory models, and including interactions between physical and biogeochemical or biological phenomena. Because of the intimate links between ocean and atmosphere, involvement of scientists interested in influences of either medium on the other is welcome. The journal has a wide scope and includes ocean-atmosphere interaction in various forms as well as pure ocean results. In addition to primary peer-reviewed papers, the journal provides review papers, preliminary communications, and discussions. Authors are invited to submit datafiles, model animations or other electronic-only information in support of their submission.

海洋模型的主要目的是通过直接观察、分析、数值或实验室模型，包括物理和生物地球化学或生物现象之间的相互作用，在对海洋模型感兴趣的人之间提供迅速的交流。由于海洋和大气之间有着密切的联系，对两种介质对另一种的影响感兴趣的科学家的参与是受欢迎的。该杂志的范围很广，包括各种形式的海洋-大气相互作用以及纯海洋结果。除了主要的同行评审论文，该杂志还提供评审论文、初步沟通和讨论。作者被邀请提交数据文件、模型动画或其他只支持他们提交的电子信息。
