JOURNAL OF THE RENIN-ANGIOTENSIN-ALDOSTERONE SYSTEM

The Journal of the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone System (JRAAS) is a peer-reviewed open access resource for biomedical professionals, including basic scientists and clinicians, primarily with an active interest in the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system in humans and other mammals.The editors-in-chief and founders are Professor Peter Sever (Imperial College London and International Centre for Circulatory Health) and Professor Graham Macgregor (Queen Mary University of London). Both have distinguished careers in cardiovascular research, both basic and clinical including important clinical trials. Their main focus has been on the mechanisms, epidemiology and treatment of hypertension. Much of this of course has centred on the role of the renin-angiotensin system.
