Journal of Industrial Textiles

The Journal of Industrial Textiles is the only peer-reviewed journal devoted exclusively to technology, processing, methodology, modelling and applications in technical textiles, nonwovens, coated and laminated fabrics, textile composites and nanofibers.In recently expanded bi-monthly issues, JIT publishes research-based articles by specialists and researchers on developments in technical textile materials including fibers, fibrous assemblies, textiles, and other fiber-based materials. These papers deal with research in Agrotech, Buildtech, Clothtech, Geotech, Hometech, Indutech, Medtech, Mobiltech, Packtech, Protech, Sporttech, Oekotech and Nanotech. Related research includes, but not limited to, technical textiles and nonwovens in hygiene, medical and protective textiles, smart and intelligent textiles, wipes, interlining, shoes and leather goods, furnishings and bedding, floor coverings, liquid and gas filtration, building and roofing, geotextiles, automotive, agriculture, electronics and nanofibers. The journal also covers new developments in safety and environmental concerns, flammability and fire retardance, standards and regulation, test methods and results.JIT presents peer-reviewed research and review papers from leading research organizations, universities, industrial laboratories, government research centers, and independent researchers.
