BOREAS

Boreas has been published since 1972. Articles of wide international interest from all branches of Quaternary research are published. Biological as well as non-biological aspects of the Quaternary environment, in both glaciated and non-glaciated areas, are dealt with: Climate, shore displacement, glacial features, land forms, sediments, organisms and their habitat, and stratigraphical and chronological relationships. Anticipated international interest, at least within a continent or a considerable part of it, is a main criterion for the acceptance of papers. Besides articles, short items like discussion contributions and book reviews are published.

博瑞拉斯自1972年出版。发表了来自第四纪研究各个分支的具有广泛国际兴趣的文章。在冰期和非冰期地区，第四纪环境的生物和非生物方面都得到了处理:气候、海岸位移、冰川特征、地貌、沉积物、生物及其栖息地、地层和年代关系。预期的国际兴趣，至少在一个大陆或其中相当大的一部分，是接受文件的一个主要标准。除了文章之外，还会发表一些简短的文章，如讨论贡献和书评。
